Joint Research Projects in Cancer Grants Awarded

Five United States (U.S.) principal investigators were selected for the Joint Research Projects in Cancer to join the Irish principal investigators selected in late 2007. Drs. Christian Abnet, Catherine Bradley, Courtney Broaddus, Stephen Chanock, and John Greally will join Professor Liam Murray, Dr. Linda Sharp, Dr. Dean Fennell, Professor Ken Mills, and Dr. Charles Spillane to work jointly on a specific research project. Farewell to Dr. James Kiely

In 2008, Dr. James Kiely left his post as Chief Medical Officer of Ireland to take a position as medical adviser to Irish Aid. Dr. Kiely has served as a member of the Board of Directors since the Consortium’s inception. The Consortium would like to thank him for his hard work over the years in support of the Consortium mission.
