Ministers of Ireland and Northern Ireland Officially Release 2009 Annual Activities Report

On 2 June 2010, ministers of Ireland and Northern Ireland jointly announced the official launch of the 2009 annual activities report, also recognizing the 10^th anniversary of the Consortium. The launch took place during the 10^th North South Ministerial Council (NSMC) meeting in the Health and Food Safety sectoral formats, held in the NSMC Joint Secretariat Offices in Armagh, Northern Ireland. The ministers in attendance included: (from Ireland) Mary Harney, T.D., minister for health and children, and Barry Andrews, T.D., minister for children and youth affairs; (from Northern Ireland) Michael McGimpsey, M.L.A., minister of health, social services and public safety, and Michelle Gildernew, M.P., M.L.A., minister of agriculture and rural development.
